MSI introduces notebooks series X-Slim X460 and X460DX

MSI introduces notebooks series  X-Slim  X460 and X460DX MSI has introduced the new X-Slim family members,  X460 and X460DX. The X460 with 14 inch screen has a thickness of less than 2.54 cm and weighs 1.98 kg, currently the lightest system that integrates a quad-core i7.

What makes this laptop stand out is that the X460 model can integrate an Intel Core or Core i7-i5-2410M 2630QM a video card and integrated Intel Graphics HD 3000, while X460DX model is equipped with an Intel processor Core i5-2410M and a dedicated video card nVIDIA GeForce 540M GT with DirectX 11 support.

Also, MSI notebook GPU Boost X460DX technological support, so when applications require more graphics processing power, the system automatically switches from the dedicated video card integrated as achieving a perfect balance between performance and autonomy.

Both notebooks are equipped with extended capacity batteries and a special key that when pressed all idle devices are turned off, thereby providing a range of 8 hours.

X460 laptop comes with Intel Wireless Display, which allows users to send multimedia files to a HD 1080p HDTV via a wireless connection, both models are equipped with HDMI ports, USB 3.0 and Bluetooth 3.0 module.

Gateway presents new series of upgrades NV and ID

Gateway presents new series of upgrades NV and ID The company has walked just Gateway to harware components but changed slightly and design new NV series notebook, adding a “chiclet keyboard”, while the connector ID series can enjoy a track pad with 20% higher. Model ID47 now has a 14 inch screen, seated in a minimal case belonging rather a notebook with 13.3-inch screen. In addition to this screen, ID47 has a battery (which cannot be easily dismantled) that promises an autonomy of 8 hours and model NV has an autonomy of 4 hours. If the model entry-level NV, you can choose and order a new processor from AMD Llano range.

Lenovo launches ultra-portable ThinkPad X121e

Lenovo launches ultra-portable ThinkPad X121eThinkPad notebook X121e includes middle-class hardware as performnaţe, but this should be sufficient for most applications, including the occasional video game or video processing.

ThinkPad X121e is equipped with an AMD C-50 APU, 1 GB of RAM and a drive of 240 GB HDD. Notebook can benefit from an upgrade, equipment is an E-350 APU AMD, 4 GB of RAM and a battery capacity. Other options include an Intel Core i3-2357M, a drive of 128 GB SSD and extended battery capacity.

Standard specifications include a 11.6-inch screen, matte, with a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, two non-powered USB 2.0 ports, port powered USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, D-sub connector, webcam, SDXC reader, WiFi, and Bluetooth 3.0, WiMAX and 3G’s are optional.

Sony VAIO F preview

Sony VAIO F previewSony has launched a new VAIO F-series laptop with a 16.4-inch screen for multimedia area. We view the new notebook as a desktop replacement but with a sleek and compact.

The base model includes an Intel Core i7-740QM, 4 GB RAM, a drive of 500 GB HDD (@ 7200 rpm), Blu-Ray optical drive and a dedicated video card with NVIDIA GeForce GT 425M 1GB video memory. Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 2 x USB 3.0, USB 2.0, eSATA port, HDMI and SD card slot.

Top models, including more powerful processors, drives with capacities greater and NVIDIA GeForce GT 540m or 520M. All F-series notebooks are equipped with Full HD screen with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The starting price for Sony VAIO F starts at $ 1,120.
