MSI has introduced the new X-Slim family members, X460 and X460DX. The X460 with 14 inch screen has a thickness of less than 2.54 cm and weighs 1.98 kg, currently the lightest system that integrates a quad-core i7.
What makes this laptop stand out is that the X460 model can integrate an Intel Core or Core i7-i5-2410M 2630QM a video card and integrated Intel Graphics HD 3000, while X460DX model is equipped with an Intel processor Core i5-2410M and a dedicated video card nVIDIA GeForce 540M GT with DirectX 11 support.
Also, MSI notebook GPU Boost X460DX technological support, so when applications require more graphics processing power, the system automatically switches from the dedicated video card integrated as achieving a perfect balance between performance and autonomy.
Both notebooks are equipped with extended capacity batteries and a special key that when pressed all idle devices are turned off, thereby providing a range of 8 hours.
